This is the official page for The Kingston Flyer Steam Train it is here to allow everyone the opportunity to see how the progress is coming along and events that will be associated with the train over the years to come. The flyer will be operating public train rides from 18 September - 18 December 2022. Private charters are also available.

There were so many great choices that it took us a whole week to pick a name! Freddy will be out to meet everyone later in the year, some time near the next school holidays 👍

COMPETITION: The Kingston Flyer is looking for a new name for our steam engine when we put the little cartoon face on it. Can you help us choose a name?

As we do not have the intellectual property rights to ‘Thomas the tank engine’ we need to use a new name. Please put your suggestions in the comments below and we will pick a winner. The winner gets a free family pass on the Kingston Flyer....
