Casual Truckies Wanted — Mack Today, Kenworth Tomorrow

We’re looking for a few experienced casual Class 5 truck drivers to jump in and help us out when the phone rings and there’s work to be done. This isn't a job for someone who thinks a Roadranger is a bloke who lives down the road. 😂. We want drivers who know their way around a big truck, can double-clutch when required, aren't scared of a hill, and know that sometimes you actually have to listen to what the truck is telling you. And here's the best bit...
You might be climbing into a Mack one morning, jumping into a Kenworth the next, then finding yourself hauling rock, grain, steel or whatever else we've got lined up. So if you're a one-truck, one-job sort of bloke... This might keep you on your toes. 😉
The sort of work you'll be doing:
🚛 Civil construction
🌾 Wheat & grain cartage
🪨 Rock cartage
📦 Flat deck work
🚚 Transporter work
💨 And probably a few other jobs that weren't in the plan when the day started!
What we're after:
✔ Proper heavy truck experience
✔ Roadranger experience — not “I've had a go once” experience
✔ Someone who can actually drive the bloody thing
✔ Reliable and available for casual/as-required work
✔ Someone who takes pride in their driving and their work
✔ And someone who treats the truck like it's their own
There's nothing worse than handing a good truck to someone and getting it back looking like it has been through a stock sale, a demolition derby and a paddock backwards. Our gear works hard and we expect our drivers to look after it, respect it and report problems before they turn into expensive problems. You don't have to be the bloke who spends three hours polishing the tanks every Sunday... ...but if you wouldn't drive your own truck like a muppet, don't drive ours like one either.
