Come and join our KBS Spreading division! 😎👌

A position has become available for a full time tractor and truck spreader operator to join our team at KBS 2018 Ltd at our Maramarua Depot. You would be driving a JCB Tractor with plus 50km/hr specs and other machines capable of spreading fertiliser.

This position would suit an ex dairy farmer or someone who is from a farming background.

Other duties would include fertiliser spreading in other vehicles in our fleet and assisting in spreading operations and yard work.

You must:

Have a class 2 driver's licence minimum. Up to class 5 driver's licence an advantage but not necessary.
Be able to look after and maintain your vehicle.
Be reliable, honest, punctual and willing to learn.
Be confident and able to work unsupervised.
Be able to communicate well, listen to instructions, listen to customers and work with other team members.

Agricultural knowledge and experience an advantage.
If successful, other pathways are available.

Excellent wages and working conditions. Knowledge of handling machinery an advantage but training can be given. KBS 2018 Ltd / W E Hale Ltd operates a drug and alcohol free policy. Applicants for this position should have a NZ residency. Would suit an ex dairy farmer or a Class 2 driver who is agriculturally minded. Training provided.
