The Kaiterau Trail Kaikoura is riding well. The rain event and a bit of TLC from KK Cycling and other riders have the uphill riding the smoothest it has been. The upper carpark is not a thing but lower park at start of bike track is OK for 2wd with high clearance.

Our hours are changing from tommorrow!
With Mt Hutt now open, from Saturday the 27th of June we are officially open from 7AM till 7:30PM EVERYDAY!

Congratulations to our 2026 Snowsports Scholarship recipients. Two well deserving students who will now have the opportunity to experience our maunga thanks to our amazing partners- Mt Hutt, Methven Travel Ltd, Big Al's Methven, Snow & Bike and the MHC PTA.

📣📣Big Al’s heads up — for the King’s Birthday long weekend we’ll be open Saturday 30th May 9am–12pm, then closed Sunday 31st May and Monday 1st June. We’re back to our normal hours Tuesday 2nd June, 9am–5pm.
