The Government has deemed Napier Port an essential service during the Level 4 lockdown. That means what we do is essential to supporting our region and to getting vital supplies to everyone in New Zealand.
Initially, you’ll see some cargo coming off port that’s non-essential as we clear space for essential supplies, or coming to port to be exported as we clear room at nearby depots.
We want to say a huge thank you to our people who are on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19 – whether they’re on-port or working remotely from home. Stay safe everyone.
