A very cool weekend racing. Patrick Morris winning the “Keith Driver Trophy” makes it three Generations of the Morris family winning. Firstly Les Morris in 1984 with “The General”, then I won it a few times from 2001 in “Southern Storm” then in “Desert Storm”,now Patrick in “Taylor Made”. A very proud moment from the family.

Was great to catch up with Peter Zala and his son Rory while we were in Aussie, they are running the x- Steve Cook KRB, the first built in Nelson at my workshop, Good luck for the rest of the season!!!last photo is of the krb team with international drivers Steve Cook and Carlos Maidana testing the boat in Picton. note the crash boxes were fitted later in England.

Hot laps and first heats done, Madness on his hot lap. The 46deg heat has taken its toll on a couple in the first heat which has evened things up at the top of the points table. Look forward to tomorrow’s 2nd heats.

Great to see a tunnel we built at home back in the KRB days running at “Berri” Adelaide this weekend. It’s Andy Elliot’s old world circuit english Burgess with KRB bottom. Went to Perth and always wondered where it ended up.
