⚠️⚡It's road safety week, and a good time to check if you know how to stay safe if a car hits a power pole?

Our friend Zippy has put together a guide to help you to stay safe whether you are in the car, or you come across someone that has hit a power pole.

🖼️ A big thanks to the Electricity Engineers Association (EEA) for providing some of these great illustrations on their website for us to share.

If you want to compare power plans and make sure you are on the best deal, there are two websites that are free to use and we recommend:

Powerswitch, which is brought to you by Consumer NZ
https://www.powerswitch.org.nz/

And Billy, which is brought to you by the Electricity Authority
https://billy.govt.nz/start

By answering some questions and/or uploading a recent power bill you will be able to compare options and see how much you might be able to save.

⚠️ Scam Alert - We are aware of some email and text message spam advertising other comparison services. For your security, avoid clicking on links from unsolicited messages.

If you’re unsure or need help understanding your options, please feel free to get in touch with us - 0800 440 220
