Te Kupenga o Ngati Kuta and Patukeha ki Te Rawhiti have requested the Maunganui Bay (Deep Water Cove) Rahui be extended for another 2 years. The protections are due to expire on the 13th October. MPI are calling for submissions.

There has been no fishing in Deep Water Cove since 2010 and the results are fantastic. Let’s keep this tiny corner of the Bay of Islands no-take so its inhabitants can grow old in peace.

You will be part of a fun team, working and providing a variety of cruises, water taxis and tours in the Bay of Islands.

This is a full time position, and Longterm/Permanent for the right person.
