Feast your eyes …..a nice cake shop in a mall on Gran Canaria where the serve cakes and coffee only.
As a non drinking coffee gal neither for me. Eye candy only. 🌺

Notice the bread in the bags has the crusts cut off ?? Also other artisan breads are sold about 4 slices to the packet.

A well presented cafe shop in a mall in Gran Canaria —Les Palmas.
An ordinary coffee shop in with these goodies.
No plastic processed Commercial Goofy slices in sight. Homemade looking at best.

Up in the clouds on the mountain top in Cape Verde, with a brother and sister . Brian and Yvonne from Tasmania .

Then with Nelson our private tour guide who was delightful. He’s getting married in August.
His wife to be is training to be a nurse in Luxembourg Trying desperately to get ahead.

We have has one sea day since leaving Cape Verde another one to day.
My day yesterday

10am in the Princess Theatre ( holds 1000 )
Geologist talking about swimming with sharks off the African coast.

11 am talk on in Zeebrugga/Blanketburn Belgium. Been there twice before . Think I will take the tram along the coast from Antwerp.

1 pm an American lady speaking on women pirates in the 1500 century. she was ok her jokes didn’t go down well with the Aussies. Mind you they weee pretty lame.

2 pm two women singing Carol king. Dolly Pardon, Celine Dion , pastry cline and Barbara Streisand songs. Very good. Each show lasts 3/4 hr.
4 pm libation time dinner 6.30 a day in a the life on a sea day.
Today theatre twice and craft lessons . 🌺🌹

Cape Verde 4 hour tour of town and country side. Not a blade of grass in sight. Only snimskscseen were goats. Dogs that were sadly thin. All NewZealanders kiss the ground and be thankful where live.🌺🙏

The lady selling her vegetables called Anna grows the produce, them sells then in the market square daily.
The rain fall is extremely low except when the torrential rain comes and runs off the land into the sea.
Cape Verde is very poor, in many of the surrounding villages, they buy deselanated water at great expense. At a central point in a market they sell the water in 40 gallon drums.

Very very sad watching these things. Dogs everywhere.…. very placid, and very skinny.
They belong to the community, every one gives them a little bit to eat if they can.
Nelson our driver took us to a beach area, no one swims much in the sea as it has a strong currant pulling you out to sea.
In this area there were three young boys selling hidious turtles, we didn't have enough local monry left . Theyv wouldnt take the reduced money ….. but ran off to this big flash car where the bosses were hiding.……. Using kids to tout for them. . We are so blessed living in Gods own, I wish the rude activists only realised how lucky we are👌🌺
