Bit of a different experience for a boy from the regions.
Triple Peaks Urban Challenge.
45km loop linking Mt Eden (highest),
One Tree Hill (most iconic) and Mt Wellington (steepest).
Surprisingly reasonable quiet riding except for 5km of hell on Mt Wellington Panmure highway.
Only ride this on a Sunday morning.

Definitely made a bigger effort today.
Leaving Akaroa, around the harbour and climbing Bossu Rd to
Saddle Hill Reserve (790m altitude).
Then a sweet 10km descent to Little River.
Staying at the quirky Little River Silos. Highly recommend.
Final day tomorrow, flat start and then...The Bastard.

Shortish day 1 of riding because of the looming storms on the exposed eastern side of the Peninsula. After all, it's supposed to be a holiday, not a boot camp.
First time ever visit to Diamond Harbour CBD.
