MEC Quarries are on the look out for a Quarry Machine Operator to join our team.

This role will suit someone who has loader experience & is passionate about the quarrying industry.
We are a small tight knit, highly motivated team so you must be a team player & have good communication skills.

Do you have the below, if so we would love to hear from you –

- Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic & have a great work ethic
- Experience working on a Loader
- Full Drivers License is a must & having W, T, R endorsements would be advantageous
- Happy to work on your own
- Physically fit
- Mechanically minded

The role will involve the day to day running of the plant, changing screens, loading trucks, general maintenance of the plant and all round upkeep of the plant and loaders reporting to our Quarry Manager. Further training will be provided.

This role requires good levels of communication with customers, team-mates, and management to ensure efficient and safe production.

MEC Quarries is locally owned & operated, based out of Rakaia with work around the Mid-Canterbury district. We value our team & treat them like family.

This is a full time position, Hours of work are Monday – Friday with some Saturday work.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday with optional Saturday work.
