🚛 Class 5 Driver – Container Port & Bulk Operations

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Class 5 driver to join our Rolleston based team and assist with a variety of transport work, including:

* Container port operations and trailer swaps
* Supporting our linehaul team
* Bulk tipping work
* General driving and transport duties as required

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, respectful and professional when dealing with our team, other staff members and our valued core clientele.

A can-do attitude is important. We want someone who is happy to get stuck in, learn new things and help wherever needed.

This role could suit:

* Someone with experience who is looking for a role with a bit more variety and a more relaxed pace
* An eager younger driver wanting to build experience, learn new skills and get stuck into the transport industry

What we’re looking for:

* Current Class 5 licence
* NZ resident
* Reliable and punctual
* Good attitude and strong work ethic
* Respectful and professional manner
* Road Ranger experience preferred
* DG licence preferred
* Able to work well as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and take on different types of work

Tranzstar is looking for a Class 2 driver to join the team on a part-time, fixed-term basis for 2 weeks during October, covering a staff absence.

📍 Christchurch metro work
🗓️ 2-week fixed term – October
🚛 Class 2 licence required
⏰ Part-time hours
✨ Potential for the position to become permanent part-time for the right person

We’re after someone who is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work. Experience with metro deliveries is preferred, but the right attitude and a good work ethic are just as important.

🚛 FRIDAY HAS ARRIVED! 🍻

The trucks are rolling, the freight is moving, and we’ve made it to yet another Friday. 😂

Another week of shifting freight and chopping gears — through traffic, rain, tight yards and, of course, surviving yet another stitch-up from dispatch. 🤣

Because nothing says “Happy Friday” quite like finding out you’ve got one more job added to the run… conveniently located in the complete opposite direction. 😂

A massive thanks to our awesome customers for keeping us busy, and to our drivers for keeping the wheels turning. 🚛💨

Now it’s time to park the trucks, kick the boots off, crack a cold one and pretend we’re not going to answer the phone when someone says…

“Just one quick job…” 👀😂

🚨 IMPORTANT COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

After an extensive internal investigation, we have identified the person responsible for the shocking lack of content on this page.

Our social media manager has been absolutely bloody useless lately.

No regular posts.
No behind-the-scenes content.
No fancy reels.
Barely a bloody “Happy Friday”.

Frankly, performance has been disgraceful. 🤦‍♀️

We have considered termination, but unfortunately the social media manager is also the admin person, problem solver, payroll department, customer service department, part time driver and professional firefighter of random daily disasters.

So apparently she’s too hard to replace. 😂

In my defence, we’ve been busy actually running trucks, moving freight and keeping customers happy — but that doesn’t exactly make for a thriving page when you forget to pick up your phone. 🤣

So… consider this the beginning of my social media redemption

I’m going to attempt to make a proper effort to show you what goes on behind the scenes at Tranzstar — the trucks, the people, the chaos, the wins, the disasters and everything in between.

And if I disappear again for three weeks…

Please assume the social media manager has been sacked. 😂🚛
