Hi, my name’s May, your Out and About buddy and I look forward to being of service to you.

I hale from a small country town in South Africa and immigrated to New Zealand in 2016 with my partner and our two boys.

Having been brought up in a large extended family, much of my childhood and teenage years were spent interacting with my grandparents, aunts, and uncles, a tightly knit, loving and supportive family. They were my pillars of strength, my mentors and attribute my character strengths of being supportive, reliable, dependable, and compassionate to them.



After moving to Tauranga in 2018, I became a qualified COMPANION DRIVER for a local company. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people, listening to their life stories, but more importantly just being their companion.

With my family in mind, I am continuously searching for new ways to enhance the “buddy” experience, my service will brighten your day, lighten your load and offer you peace of mind.
