We also spent time exploring Odaiba followed by a traditional rickshaw ride, pulled by our very fit and knowledgeable shafu (puller). We finished the tour with many laughs, great food and wonderful company at our farewell group dinner!

Japan September Tour 2026. Made our way to Kyoto by bullet train where we’ll spend the next few days. Enjoyed a visit to the stunning Kinkakuji Temple and finished our day with a meal for aristocrats! Had the most unique experience with a Maiko. The highlight was her reaction when the group sung her a waiata! A special day indeed!

We also tried our hand at noodle making and some of the group experienced Kimono wearing! Thanks to Chris & Susan who used their own photos to create an AI experience for what could have been!
