Job Opportunity: Office Administrator & Flight Coordinator
Full-Time | Rostered Position | Training Provided
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional person to join our office and operations team based at Milford Sound Airport.
This is a varied role primarily supporting helicopter operations at Milford Sound / Piopiotahi, with occasional support provided to our Te Anau / Manapouri base as required.
What the role involves:
Answering phone calls and responding to emails
Processing bookings and payments
Welcoming and assisting clients
Supporting daily helicopter operations
Radio communication with pilots and ground staff
General office administration
Assisting our Marketing Manager with marketing and content creation (where relevant skills and experience are held)
Location & Travel
Your primary place of work will be Milford Sound Airport. You will be expected to travel to and from Milford Sound for your rostered shifts. A company vehicle is provided for travel to Milford Sound. Travel may be either self-driven or shared with other team members depending on the roster.
We are looking for someone who:
Communicates clearly and professionally
Is calm, organised, and reliable
Has strong attention to detail
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Has excellent customer service skills
Works well in a close-knit team
Hold a current, full New Zealand Class 1 driver's licence
Has marketing experience (an advantage)
Has experience using radios or working in a radio-controlled environment (an advantage)
Position Details
Full-time position commencing 1 August 2026
Rostered schedule: Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday on, with Wednesdays and weekends off.
Location: Milford Sound
