Southern Jet Crank Adaptors

We manufacture and maintain stock of 20 different adaptors and bolt kits, these are designed to adapt your chosen engine to allow the install of a driveshaft between engine and jet unit whether that be 1310 or 1410 style. As standard these all suit a factory flex plate and are precision machined to fit the crank spigot meaning a very accurate driveline set up. If you are running a flywheel we also offer adapting bushes and longer bolt kits for most of this range.

Every week we dispatch our water jets and other parts all over NZ and the world but there is always a range of work being carried out in the workshop and machine shop on top of this.

This week we have a batch of our billet race nozzles heading through the milling process
multiple older Hamilton units in for servicing and overhauls
also some Hamilton's being fitted with our updated ducted reverse bucket
multiple hulls in for dent removal and new strakes
fuel tanks and seats bases being completed for upcoming new builds
Hamilton 212 being converted to close couple and adding trim nozzle
and as with every week plenty of impellers being rebuilt

What ever you may need our workshop can get it done and on top of that we are the manufacturer of most parts being used on these jobs so we always have what's needed on the shelf and ready to go no need to wait for parts!

What a year.

2025 marks 20 years of doing what we love, and it’s been one of our biggest years yet. From an incredible lineup of boats completed and sent out the door, to pushing ourselves harder than ever — we’re proud of everything that’s come out of the workshop this year.

We wrapped things up the right way with an end-of-year work function at the Geraldine Gun Club, blowing off some steam with a bit of trap shooting and good banter — a well-earned break after a massive year.

A huge thank you to our incredible team for the long hours, dedication, and pride you put into every build. And to our suppliers and customers — your support, trust, and loyalty are what make this all possible.

From all of us, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy New Year.

Here’s to 20 years done… and an even bigger future ahead.

LAST BOAT COMPLETED FOR 2025!!

Another 4200 this time powered by our 550HP LS3 and SJ216 two stage jet. Seriously impressive boat for this length, handles incredibly well. This is the same blue as a previous 4500 this year and the fit out includes tons of nice features, UC10 Haltech display, electric trim, SSS reverse and throttle, full stereo system, VHF, duck board, hatch and more! This is all finished off nicely sitting on our tandem alloy trailer setup.

For those looking to run a good performance V8 and not wanting 4.5m or longer this is the answer.

Second last boat!

This is one of our SJ3900's running two stage 178 and LFX V6 engine, unreal little package, heaps of power and heaps of room. This is a nicely finished off machine with a cool paint choice, carpet throughout, Haltech display, SSS controls and heaps more.

These make excellent little river boats without too much compromise on room for passengers etc
