Employment Opportunity -
Portfolio Maintenance Person.
Due to recent portfolio growth we are seeking the in-house services of a full time property maintenance person.
The role takes care of our wider group's commercial buildings, offices and residential properties mainly in South Canterbury. Some similar tasks in Christchurch may be required but will be day trips.
The successful applicant must be able use basic hand tools to complete basic maintenance duties such as door handle replacement, furniture removal, gardening, painting, window washing, mowing lawns, w**d control and general property maintenance so that we keep our properties in great condition.
There is also an element of light demo work such as lifting carpets, removing cabinetry and trips to the dump.
For all specialized trade services we get external companies in to do this work so the successful applicant will need to be able to organise these trades and communicate professionally.
As this is a sole charge role the ability to self manage and motivate as well as show initiative is a must. Driver's license is also required.
The successful person will need to be able to carry
bulky objects and must be physically fit.
Although a full time person is preferable we would consider part time for the right candidate.
