New F8 production boat coming along nicely. Been great having lots of talented NZ kids testing and having a ball!

The first production boat out of the new moulds ready for fit out. It will be out foiling soon!

The F8 moulds are now finished and we can now start building boats! A big thank you to ASP for 3D CNC machining the hull and deck plugs and Davie Norris Boat Builders for surfacing the plugs and building the moulds.
The F8 has grown, it is now 2.75m long and has a sail area of 5.1m2. C Tech are building a purpose built new mandrel for the masts and Doyle Sails have designed an awesome new sail. The boats will be built in New Zealand and fitted with C Tech spars, Doyle sail and Ronstan deck hardware, these little boats are going to be seriously cool!

The F8 hull and deck plugs all painted and polished. Now the female moulds will be built. All looking really good!

The 3D CNC machining is underway on the hull and deck plugs that the moulds will be taken from. This photo is of a hull part.

Awesome days sailing in the F8 today in a 12 - 16 knot breeze. New carbon C-Tech boom on today. It was really cool to have Waszp sailor Charlotte Philpott (Corston) come and sail with Will today. She jumped on the F8 and was ripping it around Lyttelton Harbour. Charlotte is around 55kg which is the upper limit for the F8.
