We are still getting a large number of people asking about our Train trips; unfortunately we are still in the middle of our maintenance and will be sure to let everyone know once we are ready to roll.

You may hear or see our Locos moving about the track while our crew performs track maintenance, trial runs & training trips with our volunteer crew; unfortunately the general public will 𝗻𝗼𝘁 be able to hop aboard these runs

Goldfields Railway will be temporarily stopping our train trips while we perform some maintenance that can not be done while running our usual train services.

Ever wanted to ride the rails as a Train Guard?

Well good news, Goldfields Railway currenlty has some 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 Train Guard positions available.
We offer full training with a friendly group of train enthusuasts working hard to preserve this small section of NZ rail history.

Our Monday 26th trains will also unfortunatley be cancelled, however barring any unforseen circumstances our Thursday 29th Trains should go ahead as planned.
:End Update:
Unfortunately we will have to also cancel our Sunday 25th Jan, our Monday 26th Jan trains are still under consideration but uncertain at this stage.
