Bikespace Bikespace is a WCC sponsored community bicycle repair workshop. Get your bike running at its best.

Operating out of a shipping container currently located on Cable Street, Bikespace provides a well-equipped workshop staffed by mechanics who assist members of the Wellington community with diagnosing issues, making repairs and building bike confidence. The approach is equal parts teaching and fixing – with guests hands on working with the mechanic on the repair. Bikespace’s goal is to demystify t

he bicycle – to give everyone a better understanding of how a bike works plus the skills to fix and maintain their bike. We want people to feel comfortable with their bikes and empowered to fix issues in the future. Funding from Wellington City Council allows this service to be provided for free.

The Times They Are A-Changin'.
Starting next week we are going to change our open days to Wed / Sat / Sun. This will give everyone two chances each weekend to stop by and get your bicycle running at its best.
Friday's will be added back to the schedule when we return to our Summer hours in October.
