I didn’t expect to enjoy Ruby Falls as much as I did. You walk through a cave to reach the waterfall at the end, and the formations along the way might be the best part.

The cave is lit up and has walkways, so it’s not exactly untouched, but it made it easy to see (and capture) all of these.

Solo travel really just means a lot of random trivia nobody asked me to learn.

I forgot this about Tennessee. I also did the math wrong and showed up to a work site an hour and a half early the next day. At least I was early!!

The Presley family living room

One of the more interesting rooms in the house. The ceilings and walls were covered in upholstery. I wonder how often they need to vacuum😅

Afternoon was at the historic Peabody hotel. Pick a reservation time that’s not too close to closing time!

Going up on the hotel’s roof was a good way to get an overview of the city and to see where the famous ducks lived.

I don’t think I’ve ever eaten this much catfish in my life. Also found some hush puppies 🤤

The universe really said “safe travels” before I even left. 🐞✨

The Seattle leg marked the end of my summer travels, and I reluctantly went back home on the coast- Which isn’t a bad place to be since I’ve always loved the beach (and the mountains too).

In these few weeks I had some beach days, continued decluttering my home and tried to relax some more (but always finding I’m working too much). I took some of my sound bowls on the beach and realized that the environment was just a tad distracting.

I’m gearing up for what seems like the busiest fall travel season for work ever… At the very least this fall I’m seeing a couple new places. (And yes I post late and I’m now a month into the travel season.)

Also, I miss traveling for FUN in the fall season…
