🇬🇧 A Caribbean Welcome in Panama 🌴🇵🇦

For the first time, I had the pleasure of welcoming guests from Antigua and Barbuda to Panama! 🇦🇬

During their seven-day stay in Panama, one of the experiences they chose was Monkey Island tour — an adventure into the heart of the Panama Canal’s Central Zone.

In this protected area, we explore the incredible biodiversity of the rainforest and Gatun Lake, searching for monkeys, colorful birds, iguanas, and other wildlife that call this unique ecosystem home. 🐒🦜🦎🌿

It was a pleasure to share a little bit of Panama’s wild side with our first guests from Antigua and Barbuda.

¡Por primera vez tuve el placer de recibir en Panamá a visitantes de Antigua y Barbuda! 🇦🇬

Durante sus siete días de estancia en Panamá, una de las experiencias que eligieron fue el tour a Monkey Island, una aventura en el corazón de la Zona Central del Canal de Panamá.

En esta área protegida exploramos la increíble biodiversidad de la selva tropical y el lago Gatún, en busca de monos, aves, iguanas y otras especies que habitan este extraordinario ecosistema. 🐒🦜🦎🌿

Fue un verdadero placer compartir con ellos una parte de la naturaleza salvaje de Panamá y recibir a nuestros primeros visitantes de Antigua y Barbuda.

🇬🇧 After 2 years — and a city tour that happened almost at the last minute — I had the opportunity for the third time to be a guide in Panama for this amazing family, and this time with the whole crew together 😊

After enjoying their trip and vacation in Brazil, they took advantage of one of the great options offered by Copa Airlines . As a regional hub with an extensive network connecting North and South America, Panama’s Stopover program allows travelers to stay in Panama for up to 15 days at no additional airfare cost.

That’s exactly what this wonderful family did — using the opportunity to revisit some favorite places while also discovering new ones.

This time we visited the Miraflores Visitor Center at the Panama Canal. No matter how many times you come here, it’s always impressive to watch a ship almost the length of three football fields pass through the locks.

We also made time for something completely different — a visit to the Emberá community, where they proudly shared their traditions, way of life, traditional medicine, and ended the experience with beautiful dances inspired by nature.

🇬🇧 Kenzo and Ben are back in Panama again. 🇵🇦

Last time we were exploring Casco Viejo and visiting the canal, but today was completely different.
Today was for nature. 🌿

That’s one of the things I like most about Panama — in a short time everything changes. One moment you’re surrounded by the city, and not long after, you’re in the middle of greenery, peace, fresh air, and the sounds of monkeys and birds all around you.

And this time, besides the nature and good atmosphere, there was also a birthday to celebrate. 🎂🥳

La vez pasada estuvimos recorriendo Casco Viejo y visitando el canal, pero hoy fue completamente diferente.
Hoy fue un día para la naturaleza. 🌿

Esa es una de las cosas que más me gustan de Panamá: en muy poco tiempo todo cambia. En un momento estás rodeado de ciudad y poco después ya estás en medio del verdor, la tranquilidad, el aire fresco y los sonidos de monos y aves por todos lados.

Y esta vez, además de la naturaleza y el buen ambiente, también hubo cumpleaños para celebrar.

Before boarding their cruise in Panama, this amazing big family from Mexico 🇲🇽 enjoyed a Panama City tour to discover the highlights of the city. ✨

We explored Casco Viejo (Old Town), walking through its historic streets, colorful architecture, and hidden corners, and then continued to the Miraflores Visitor Center for an unforgettable Panama Canal tour experience — watching ships pass through one of the greatest engineering wonders in the world.

A short visit, but absolutely enough time to truly experience Panama City. 🌎🚢

Antes de abordar su crucero en Panamá, esta increíble y gran familia de México 🇲🇽 disfrutó de un tour por la Ciudad de Panamá para conocer lo mejor de la ciudad. ✨

Exploramos el Casco Viejo, recorriendo sus calles históricas, arquitectura colorida y rincones escondidos, y luego continuamos hacia el Centro de Visitantes de Miraflores para vivir la experiencia del Canal de Panamá — viendo de cerca el paso de los barcos por una de las mayores maravillas de la ingeniería del mundo.

Una visita breve, pero totalmente suficiente para conocer la Ciudad de Panamá. 🌎🚢

This year is no exception — the agency from Serbia is on their fourth trip to Central America this year, once again including Panama in their itinerary. 🌎✈️

🇬🇧 Today, for the first time, I had the pleasure of hosting guests from faraway Estonia, who traded the Northern European winter and temperatures of -10°C for two weeks of tropical Panamanian sunshine. ☀️

At the beginning of their journey, we explored the Old Town, the Amador Peninsula, the Administration Building, and finished the tour at the famous Panama Canal, watching a vessel with a capacity of over 5,000 cars perfectly pass through the Miraflores Locks. 🚢✨

🇪🇸 Hoy, por primera vez, tuve el placer de recibir visitantes de la lejana Estonia, quienes cambiaron el invierno del norte de Europa y temperaturas de -10°C por dos semanas de sol tropical panameño. ☀️

Al inicio de su viaje recorrimos el Casco Antiguo, la Calzada de Amador, el Edificio de la Administración y finalizamos el tour en el famoso Canal de Panamá, observando un barco con capacidad para más de 5,000 autos pasar perfectamente por las esclusas de Miraflores. 🚢✨
