Our Story
GREAT BIKE TOURS PERUVIAN/ARGENTINAN & BRITISH GUIDES ALL OUR OWN HONDA & SUZUKI BIKES I first went to Peru 18 years ago & bought a 200yr Colonial house in the beautiful mountain city of Cajamarca, renovated it to a high standard started & ran our bike touring business Adventure Peru Motorcycling from there & eventually had 10 bikes.
I decided to relocate in the beautiful countryside 10 minutes out of town in Valle Verde The Green Valley very apt as my mother was born in Wales!! I bought a piece of land with 360 degree views to the high Andes of Peru and designed & built a 4 storey bikers hotel which has been open now some 5 years & I am just adding 2 bikers timber bunkhouses on the upper terraces great for groups to chill out & have a beer on the terraces & balcony.
We now tour in 5 countries includes Colombia,Ecuador,Chile,Bolivia as well as beautiful Peru!! the temperature here is 70-80 degrees all year no need for central heating just a little rain sometimes which helps with our figs, oranges.lemons, bananas & rare plants all visited by rare birds & of course Quinde’s or humming birds in English! We also have Adventure South America Motorcycling Ltd to cater for the other countries we bike around besides Peru and maybe later we will add Argentina & Brazil!
Our place Casa Buena Vista is in a small hamlet called Huaryapongo(In Inca means door of the wind) which blows through the valley and we are 10 minutes walk from Los Banos Del Incas the famous volcanic heated waters where the Incas bathed & 15 min drive to the capital of the region Cajamarca which is steeped in history where The Conquistadores under Pizzarro first fought the Incas,
