EXTENDING OUR REACH TO PRIMARY SCHOOLS.

Whilst at Danu, we also visited 3 Primary schools in Ward 17 and 18 of SNA LLG. They are Dampet, Kanamaradan and Messie Junior High. It was a joy to sit with the students and run a fun, interactive financial Literacy session.
To make learning exciting, we rewarded students who answered correctly with their very own tin banks - and simple but powerful tool to start their savings journey early. These moments reminds us that, financial Literacy begins at a young age., and every small step builds stronger, brighter futures for our communities. Thankyou school teachers and students for welcoming us with such enthusiasm. Together, together we are planting seeds of knowledge that will grow for generations.

'A PROUD MILESTONE FOR NASLS'

On Friday, 10th July 2026, we officially opened our NASLS Agency at Danu, Ward 17, SNA LLG, Nti District. The opening was graced by our CEO, Directors and distinguished invited guests, marking a new chapter in bringing financial services closer to our communities.
We also had the privilege of presenting Certificates of Achievement to the 63 participants who successfully completed our training on savings and budgeting during the week. Their dedication and commitment reflect the spirit of empowerment and growth we strive to foster.
Congratulations to all participants and thankyou to everyone who joined us celebrating this occasion. Together, we continue building stronger, financially literate communities 💙💛🙏

FINANCIAL LITERACY IN DANU VILLAGE:
From 6th to 9th July 2026, we successfully ran a FLT program covering key modules on Savings, Budgeting and Costings.
A total of 63 participants joined us in this important learning journey. One of the participants said, it,s the first time such training is conducted in the village that includes everyone young and old. This training was not just about numbers, but about empowering our community with knowledge to make smarter financial decisions and build a stronger future together.
We are grateful to Mr Jonathan Mesulam of West Coast Development Foundation, as a stakeholder for providing the facilities, and everyone who took part and made this initiative a success.

COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT.

On Sunday, 5th July 2026 as part of our on going commitment to community service, we proudly donated 20 cartons of water and purchased 41 'T' shirts to support the Islands Petroleum Color run that the purpose of this run is to assist the two health centers in Kimadan & Lemekot Health Centers.
This contribution of water was made to ensure participants stayed hydrated and energized throughout the event. We believe in fostering health, wellness, and unity in our community, and we are honored to play a small part in making this event a success. Together we can continue to build stronger, healthier communities for New Ireland.

NASLS 31st ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.

We held our 31st AGM on Friday the 26th of June 2026. We extend our sincere appreciation to all our members and stakeholders for your continued support throughout the year. The 2025 annual report reflects a strong and successful year for us. A testament to our commitment and partnership.

Today, we proudly celebrate reaching 37,000 members, and the number continues to grow. This milestone highlights the trust and confidence our community places in NASLS.

As we look forward, we look ahead with optimism and determination for another successful year of service, growth and collaboration.

FAREWELL OUTGOING CHAIRMAN - Mr Eugene Schulze

It was a remarkable milestone for Mr Schulze. 24 years of service, with 22 of those as Chairman. It is an extra ordinary commitment to the NASLS board. Farewelling someone with that level of dedication is both a moment of gratitude and reflection.

Leadership longevity like that often shapes the culture and stability of an Organization in profound ways.
