Fire Safety Training at Heli Niugini Madang Airport.

On Friday, 21 August 2026, Heli Niugini staff participated in Fire Safety Training delivered by the PNG Fire Service, covering both theory and practical components.

The training provided valuable knowledge and practical awareness on fire prevention, emergency response, safe use of fire extinguishers, and appropriate actions during a fire emergency.

We were also pleased to have several staff members from Nambis Inn join the session, strengthening our shared commitment to workplace safety and emergency preparedness.

A big thank you to the PNG Fire Service for delivering the training and to all Heli Niugini and Nambis Inn (Sister Company) staff for their participation and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.

| An Evening of Purpose, Empowerment & Celebration 🇵🇬✨

A significant evening for Heli Niugini as we joined the Miss Bird of Paradise PNG Talent & Fashion Show 2026 at APEC Haus in Port Moresby — an evening celebrating the talent, confidence, creativity and potential of Papua New Guinean women.

The Miss Bird of Paradise platform represents more than a crown. It provides young women with a platform to find their voice, build confidence, develop leadership skills and create opportunities to contribute to their communities and the nation.

HNL is proud to support initiatives that encourage and empower women to step forward, pursue their ambitions, and take their place in leadership and business.

Supporting National Development Through Safe & Reliable Aviation

On Monday, 20 July 2026, Heli Niugini was honoured to provide VIP charter services for Pacific Lime & Cement Limited's ML526 & SEZ Access Road, IBIRI & GEVA Bridge Opening Ceremony, supporting a significant milestone in Papua New Guinea's infrastructure and economic development.
Our Airbus H145 and BK117 crews safely transported distinguished guests, including The Honourable John Rosso, MP, Deputy Prime Minister; The Honourable Richard Maru, MP, Minister for International Trade and Investment; The Honourable Peter Tsiamalili Jr., MP, Minister for Works & Highways; and The Honourable Keith Iduhu, MP, Member for Hiri-Koiari and Deputy Opposition Leader together with Mr Richard Pegum, Executive Chairman of Pacific Lime & Cement Limited; Mr Paul Mulder, Managing Director of Pacific Lime & Cement Limited; Mr Ashley Brosnan, Economics Counsellor at the Australian High Commission; and other valued project stakeholders.
