Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain company vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical issues.
* Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, tire replacement, and tune-ups.
* Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, electrical, and hydraulic system problems.
* Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults.
* Replace defective parts and components as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
* Keep the work area clean and follow workplace safety procedures.
* Report major repair needs and recommend cost-effective maintenance solutions.
* Test vehicles and equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or vocational/technical certification in Automotive or Diesel Mechanics is preferred.
* At least 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic (experience requirements may vary depending on the position).
* Strong knowledge of automotive or heavy equipment systems.
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.
* Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy parts when required.
* Valid driver’s license is an advantage.
