PART 1 - THE DECISION
There are decisions in life that look simple from the outside — but carry a weight only your heart understands.
Recently, I made one of the hardest choices I’ve ever had to make.
It meant letting go of familiarity, stability, and a chapter I once built with certainty. It meant packing up a life, carrying memories across distance, and stepping into the unknown with more questions than answers.
Starting over sounds brave when people say it.
But living it is different.
It is exhausting.
It is expensive.
It is uncertain.
It humbles you in ways you never imagined.
There are moments I quietly wonder if I did the right thing.
Moments I miss who I used to be.
Moments I feel small in a world that once felt familiar.
But deep inside, there is also a gentle knowing:
sometimes life asks us to begin again — not because we failed, but because we are being led somewhere we cannot yet see.
So if you are in a season of starting over too…
if your life feels unfamiliar, slower, or heavier than before…
please know this:
You are not behind.
You are not lost.
You are in transition.
And transitions, however painful, are where new strength quietly forms.
I am learning to trust this season — one day at a time.
