๐Ÿ“Here in Bataan, there are a variety of beautiful destinations, but most importantly, itโ€™s a place that has played an essential role in the history of the Philippines. Our company not only wants to highlight the beauty of Bataan but also the history in it.

๐Ÿ“During the 16th Century, Bataan was first occupied by the 'Ayta Magbeken' tribe; they are considered one of the first Negrito ancestors of present-day Filipinos. In 1647, Dutch naval forces attempted to seize the islands from Spain during the Spanish Colonial Period. The Dutch Forces massacred the people of Abucay, Bataan. According to the Historian Cornelio Bacara, The province of Bataan was established on January 11, 1757, by Governor-General Pedro Manuel Arandia.

๐Ÿ“Bataan became well known because of the โ€˜Battle of Bataanโ€™ (January - April 1942). The Battle of Bataan was a significant defense by Filipino and American forces against the Japanese invasion. Despite fierce fighting, the troops were ultimately overwhelmed, leading to the surrender of around 76,000 soldiers. Following their surrender, these soldiers were forced to march approximately 65 miles under brutal conditions to a prison camp. Many died from exhaustion, disease, or ex*****on along the way. Hence the โ€˜Bataan Death March,โ€™ This tragic event shows the courage and strength of those who fought for freedom.

๐Ÿ“Today, Bataan is seen as a crucial historical site with many memorials honoring its past. Its significance in Philippine history highlights the struggles and sacrifices made during the war reminding everyone of the country's fight for independence and the resilience of its people.
