With due respect, we would like to clarify certain information regarding the Bulusan–Sorsogon route.
Based on the records and approved franchise issued by the LTFRB, BULTRASCO has fifteen (15) authorized units for the Bulusan–Sorsogon route, not twenty (20) units as mentioned in the statement.
At present, the cooperative is continuously working to maximize the deployment of all available units. There are instances when approximately two (2) units are temporarily unavailable due to necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of our vehicles. These units are currently being repaired and prepared for immediate deployment, especially in response to the increased passenger demand brought about by the opening of classes.
BULTRASCO remains committed to providing reliable, safe, and efficient transportation services to the people of Bulusan and neighboring municipalities. We recognize the inconvenience experienced by some passengers and assure the public that we are taking all necessary steps to return all serviceable units to operation as soon as possible.
We also welcome constructive dialogue with the LGU, LTFRB, and the riding public to address transportation concerns and identify practical solutions that will benefit our commuters, students, workers, senior citizens, and other stakeholders.
In connection with the posting of the Hon. Councilor Rene Fullero Fulleros, the LTFRB 5 issued a Show Cause Order to the cooperative to shed light on the issues.
For the information of the committee on transportation of LGU Bulusan. Thank you so much for the unwavering support Kagawad!
