Do you brush before or after breakfast?
Most people brush after. But here is why before is better.
When you wake up, bacteria have been working all night, building up in your mouth. If you eat breakfast first, you are giving them a full buffet of food to feed on. They create acid from that food, and that acid weakens your enamel. Then when you brush after eating, you are essentially brushing away softened tooth structure.
Brush first. Then eat. Your teeth will thank you.
If brushing before just does not work for your routine, wait at least 30 minutes after eating before you brush. This is especially important if you had anything acidic like orange juice or coffee. Give your enamel time to re-harden first.
