In Loving Memory of Tatay Ger
It is with heavy hearts that we share some sad news with all of you who have been part of Ashana’s journey. Our beloved boat captain, Gerry Brucal, passed away on January 12, 2025. Out of respect for his family’s privacy, we have kept this within our hearts until now.
For those who had the privilege of knowing him, you’ll remember his warm smile, his kind spirit, and the unwavering care he showed to everyone who stepped aboard. He wasn’t just our captain—he was the heart of Ashana. His passion for the sea, his dedication to keeping everyone safe, and his ability to bring joy to every trip made Ashana more than just a boat; he made it feel like home.
Tatay Ger loved what he did, and he loved sharing that joy with all of you. His legacy will forever be a part of Ashana, and though he is no longer with us, his spirit will always guide us through the waves.
To those who knew him, thank you for sharing in the laughter and adventure he brought to every journey. May we all carry a piece of his kindness and joy in our hearts.
Rest in peace, Captain. You will always be missed, but never forgotten.
