The Provincial Tourism Promotions and Development Office of the Provincial Government of Palawan cautions the traveling public of the SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES pretending to be travel and tours or accommodation establishments offering too-good-to-be-true deals online. Travel scammers proliferate in digital space and they like to trick travelers with their so-called “discounted packages-curated-just-for-you” scheme, and will ask a down payment in their personal account.

To avoid these scams, seek assistance from your local tourism office to check if they are legitimate and DOT-accredited, and verify the infos found in the social media pages. Thank you!
