(1) SAFETY OFFICER
Area of Assignment: Davao City
About a job:
- Prepare safety documentations
- Create and enhance company’s safety and health policies and
procedures
- Evaluate current safety protocols and measures in place
- Evaluate and recommend improvements in processes or equipment to reduce risks
- Develop and implement specialized safety and health programs tailored to specific needs or sectors of the company
- Identify potential long-term risks or areas of concern
- Develop and implement risk management strategies
- Monitor indents of workplace accidents, injuries, and illnesses
- Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documents related to safety and health, such as accident reports and safety committee meeting minutes
Qualifications:
- Must be a Degree Holder and has completed the mandatory forty-hour (40) OSH training course applicable to the industry
- Preferably holds Occupational and Safety Health related license and/or certifications (e.g DOLE accredited OSH Practitioner/Consultant)
- Preferably with experience in occupational safety health related job, well versed in safety policies, implementation, hazard/risk analysis, knowledgeable in computer software applications
- Good communication skill
