The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced that commercial flight operations at General Santos International Airport will resume tomorrow, Monday, June 15, 2026.

This follows President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.โ€™s directive to immediately fast track repair works at the airport following last weekโ€™s earthquake, ensuring the safety, convenience, and uninterrupted travel of passengers.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has extended the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for General Santos Airport.

The new NOTAM is effective from 4:56 PM on June 10 until 6:00 PM on June 14.

Only government, military, and humanitarian flights are permitted to operate at the airport following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Sarangani.

Passengers are advised to coordinate with their respective airlines regarding the status of their flights.
