San Dionisio, Iloilo - October 16, 2026
The Iloilo Provincial Health Office (PHO) Nutrition Service is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Parent Effectiveness Service (PES) Training, where we engaged with enthusiastic and participative mothers in strengthening their knowledge and commitment to better family nutrition and child health.
Through meaningful discussions on behavior change through Pinggang Pinoy, Vitamin A, and Iron, we emphasized that good nutrition is not simply about putting food on the table, it is about making informed choices, developing healthy habits, and ensuring that every child receives the nourishment needed to grow, learn, and thrive.
The mothers' eagerness to learn and participate reminds us that when parents are empowered with the right knowledge, they become powerful advocates for their children's health. Every healthy food choice, every appropriate nutrition practice, and every effort to prevent micronutrient deficiencies brings us one step closer to a healthier generation.
Our heartfelt gratitude to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) Office, PCF San Dionisio, through Ma'am Maryflor Trespeces, and the Day Care Association for this meaningful partnership and for recognizing the vital role of nutrition in effective parenting and early childhood development.
Through the Iloilo PHO Nutrition Service, we do more than share information, we build partnerships, inspire behavior change, and empower families to take action for better nutrition.
Because protecting the health of our children is not the responsibility of one office alone. It is a shared commitment among parents, communities, and government partners.
When we educate parents, we strengthen families. When we strengthen families, we protect children. And when we work together, we build a healthier and brighter future for every Ilonggo child.
