🚗💨 Promoting Road Safety, One at a Time!

In line with LTO Region VI's commitment to road safety education, a Safety Driving Seminar was successfully conducted at Camp Adriano D. Hernandez , Di**le, Province of Iloilo.

A total of 29 participants actively joined the seminar, including 8 VTC participants, gaining valuable knowledge on traffic laws, responsible driving practices, and road safety awareness.

Together, we continue to foster a culture of discipline, responsibility, and safety on our roads. Every informed driver contributes to safer communities for everyone.

🚨𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗨𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 | 2-𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚🚨

A successful 2-day Deputation Training was conducted featuring comprehensive discussions and hands-on activities focused on traffic law enforcement and road safety operations. The training covered lectures, practical exercises, actual roadside inspection, and examinations to further strengthen the knowledge and capabilities of participating personnel in the field of transportation and traffic enforcement. 🚔📋

The activity was attended by Regional Director Atty. Gaudioso P. Geduspan II and OIC Chief Land Transportation Office Antique, Eric C. Otayde, together with Meljoy B. Gaurano of Traffic Safety Unit and Atty. Jehan Ann Miranda of Intelligence and Investigation Unit.

The training sessions were facilitated by lecturers Bernard Bacay and Gemmuel Eola, while RDEC Secretariat support was provided by Cloue Calauod.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment to enhancing professionalism, discipline, and effective enforcement in promoting safer roads and responsible road users. 🚦

The Traffic Safety Unit successfully conducted a 2-day Road Safety and Defensive Driving Seminar at MORE Power, equipping employees with essential knowledge and responsible driving practices to help create safer roads for everyone.

A total of 51 participants actively joined the seminar:
✅ 1st Batch – 28 participants
✅ 2nd Batch – 23 participants

This initiative highlights the importance of discipline, awareness, and defensive driving in preventing road accidents and promoting a culture of safety on and off the road.

Bilang bahagi ng ika-anim na buwan ng mga naisagawang hakbang ng pamunuan, nagkaroon ng programang “Kuwentuhan with the LTO Chief” ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) na naglalayong magbigay ng malinaw at accessible na paliwanag sa publiko hinggil sa nga polisiya, reporma, at resulta ng operasyon ng ahensya. Tampok sa unang sesyon nang nasabing programa ang paglulunsad ng “I-Report Mo Kay LTO Chief,” isang direktang sumbungan na nagbibigay sa publiko ng mabilis at madaling paraan upang mag-ulat ng reklamo, katiwalian, o concern sa pamamagitan ng website na www.ireportmokayltochief.ph at opisyal na page/messenger nito na I-Report Mo Kay LTO Chief. Ang inisyatibong ito ay kaayon ng 7-point priority agenda ni LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, partikular sa pagpapalakas ng transparency, accountability, at agarang pagtugon sa mga hinaing ng publiko.

Sa ilalim ng “I-Report Mo Kay LTO Chief,” maaaring magsumite ang sinumang motorista o mamamayan ng kanilang ulat kaugnay ng operasyon, serbisyo, o kaugalian ng mga tauhan ng LTO, kabilang ang mga insidente ng road rage, mapanganib na pagmamaneho, at iba pang paglabag na naglalagay sa peligro sa kaligtasan sa kalsada. Ang mga matatanggap na sumbong ay agad na dadaan sa kaukulang beripikasyon upang matiyak na naaaksyunan ang bawat reklamo alinsunod sa umiiral na mga patakaran.

Ayon kay LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, ang nasabing inisyatibo ay bahagi ng patuloy na reporma ng ahensya upang palakasin ang accountability at gawing mas bukas ang komunikasyon sa pagitan ng gobyerno at publiko.

Hinihikayat ng LTO ang publiko na gamitin ang “I-Report Mo Kay LTO Chief” bilang isang responsableng paraan ng pakikilahok upang makatulong sa pagpapanatili ng maayos, ligtas, at mabisang sistema ng transportasyon sa bansa.
