Japan's Cherry Blossom Forecast 2026

🌸Spring is the cherry blossom season in Japan, but the blooming dates change each year.

The 2026 forecast isn't out yet, but you can check the 2025 date for a general idea. In 2026, the best time to see cherry blossoms in Honshu (Tokyo, Kyoto, etc.) is likely early April, around Easter. See 2025 full bloom dates for a rough idea:

Tokyo: Late March (March 31)
Osaka: Early April (April 3/4)
Kyoto: Early April (April 3)
