High Value Individual Yields P170K in Dasmariñas City Drug Bust

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City - Police operatives of the Cavite Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit arrested one high-value individual and confiscated more or less 25 grams of suspected illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation conducted in Zone 1, Brgy., Sampaloc 4, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, at around 3:00 AM on January 29, 2023.

The suspect was identified as Mark Angelo Celis, 24 and a resident of Barangay, Sampaloc 4, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

Based on the report, operatives of the Cavite PDEU conducted a buy bust operation on January 29, 2023 at about 3:00 AM in Brgy. Sampaloc 4, Dasmariñas City, Cavite which resulted in the arrest of the suspect after he sold suspected shabu to a police officer who acted as a poseur buyer.
Seized from the suspect were more or less 25 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P170,000.00.

The arrested suspect along with the recovered pieces of evidence was brought to Camp BGen. Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite for documentation and proper disposition. The suspect will be turned over to Dasmariñas City Custodial Facility for custody while cases for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) is being prepared for filing before the Office of the City Prosecutor in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

PBGen Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr., Regional Director of PRO CALABARZON lauded the operatives of the Cavite Police, under the leadership of PCol Christopher F Olazo for the arrest of the high-value individual.

Send - Off Ceremony for the upcoming Cavite 7th District Special Election

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite - Atty. Mitzele Veron L. Morales-Castro, Comelec PES/Chairman SEJSCC together with PCol Christopher F Olazo, Provincial Director/ Co-Chairman, PCG LCDR Ailene G Abanilla, Station Commander, Coast Guard/Co-Chairman; And 1Lt Rendel Soriano, Coy Commander, Bravo Coy, 2ID PA led the Send-Off Ceremony of deployed personnel in the established COMELEC Checkpoint in preparation for the security of the upcoming 2023 Cavite 7th District Special Election held at the Office of the Provincial Election Supervisor Bahay Sanayan Building, Cavite Provincial Capitol Compund, Trece Martires City, Cavite.

The said activity was also attended by Rev. Fr Dionisio Vargas C Palingping, PltCol Sherwin Boy Maglana, DPDA, PltCol Jesson V Bombasi, DPDO, Cavite PPO Provincial Quad Staff, Team Leader,Maritime Group, Team Leader Provincial Highway Patrol Team, Team Leader, Cavite CIDT Cavite, BFP-Cavite, PDRRMO and COPs of Amadeo Municipal Police Station, Trece Martires CPS, Indang MPS; and Tanza MPS.

The send-off ceremony aims to showcase the government security forces and resources in preparation for the upcoming Cavite 7th District Special Election on February 25, 2023.

4 MWP Provincial Level Collared, 104 Others Arrested in the Week -long Anti-Criminality Ops

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia Imus City- The Provincial Director of Cavite announced the arrest of four (4) Most Wanted Person-Provincial Level and 104 others in the week-long anti-criminality operation.

In the relentless campaign against wanted persons, four (4) MWP-Provincial Level were collared by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of R**e by Sexual Assault, Violation of Sec 5 (i) and (e) of RA 9262, R**e with Sexual Assault and Arson by the Intel operatives of Cavite CPS, Cavite PMFC, Indang MPS, and GMA MPS. Carmona MPS arrested one for Violation of Sec.10(A) of RA 7610, Sexual Assault under Art. 266-A(2) RPC in relation to RA 7610 tagged as MWP-Municipal Level while Rosario MPS arrested one for Violation of Sec 22(A) in Rel. to Sec 22(D) and 28(E) and (F) of RA 8282.

Twenty three (23) other wanted persons were arrested for crime of RA 9262, Unjust Vexation, RIR in Damage to Property and Serious Physical Injuries, RA 10883 (Anti Carnapping Act of 2016), Estafa through Falsification of Documents, Grave Threats, Falsification by Private Individual, Qualified Theft, Violation of Other Deceits under Article 318 of the RPC, Violation of 9995 (Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009, Homicide, Violation of Art 267, RA 9165, RA 9262, Intentional Abortion and Violation of Bouncing Check Law.

In the intensified campaign against illegal drugs, a total of 46 individuals were arrested in 35 buy bust operations and confiscated 74 pieces plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, 14 pieces plastic sachet containing dried leaves of suspected ma*****na and other drug paraphernalia.

On the campaign against illegal gambling, thirty (30) individuals were arrested in Dasmariñas City, Imus City, and Amadeo after caught in the act playing “Cara y Cruz”, “Pigeon racing” and illegal card games "Tong-its". Police operatives confiscated one (1) set of playing card, six pieces of one peso coin used as pangara, more or less one 170 doves placed in two (2) steel crates and bet money amounting to Php14,400.00.

In various crimes, one was arrested for Stabbing Incident in Brgy. Nicolasa Virata, GMA, Cavite. Bacoor CPS arrested two for Violation of PD 1612 (Anti-fencing Law) and 1 arrested for Alleged Art. 365 of RPC Swindling in connection with RA 10175 (The Anti-Cyber Crime Prevention Act), General Trias CPS arrested 1 for RIR in Homicide, and Indang MPS arrested 1 for Road Mishap Incident (RIR in Homicide and Damage of Property).
