My friend just recently got scammed by these demons (16k 😢), so please be aware.
Mag popost Sila sa FB MARKET to sell an item (iphones, playstation and etc.) Mejo convincing kasi they will be the one to insist on a "video call". So then, ipapakita nila Sayo ung item and mind you dimejo kapani paniwala ksi maayos Yung Bahay ha. Then mag explain Yung seller about the product and lahat ng Tanong mo sasagutin nya. Tpos Iko convince ka na via courier na lng and to also get your trust kahit Ikaw pa mismo pag bu book-in nila. Pag na book m na the deal would be that when the ride arrive ibi video call ka ni seller ipapakausap Sayo si rider then that so called rider namn eh acting na chinenecheck nga nya Yung item, that it is complete and will tell you na everything is okay and NASA kanya na Yung item so you can now transfer the payment. You being the convinced buyer eh magtitiwala naman at isesend Ang payment. After that boom! Babye na ..auto blocked ka na🥺😱 so ayun na nga Yung mga ganitong tao dinadamay na pati mga profession ng mttnong mga riders. Ksi Ang catch, hihingin sau kunware ung link ng binook mong courier ..so syempre ma kkta nila if nasa area na (again pekeng add bbgay nila) pag asa area na papasok sa eksena ung pekeng rider na kasabwat na nila then proceed sa video call. Makita nyo sa video, na nag inquire Ako kunware then same tlga Ang drama nila...so I am trying to ask him na magpakita din sa cam for transparency and dun nya Sinabi na "kakagising ko lng ksi Ma'am eh" sbe ko Anu naman ...syempre pra lang sure din Ako ..they will say pa na "mag sesend naman Ako ng selfie with id" on this note Kya malakas Ang loob again malamang ung isesend na pic biktima dn nila . So andameng nadadamay tlga. Yung buyer, totoong rider na na book, identity ng mga tao na na catfish nila and etc. Talagang when you use the fb market be very vigilant. Cash on delivery is the best. So ayun just always consider the ff:
Video call and make sure na magpapakita din ng Mukha Ang seller.
If via courier video call mo na dn si rider if possible (pero mostly is audio call tlaga) be mindful of the number used na lng din.
Scammer will always use different identities and matalino tlga Sila and tlgang nakalabudol. Wag papadala.
