Cancelled Flights Due to Mindanao Earthquake
As of June 8, 2026; 12:30 PM
Due to the impact of the Magnitude 7.8 earthquake that hit off the coast of Mindanao on flight operations, the following Cebu Pacific (CEB) flights scheduled today, June 8, 2026, are cancelled:
5J 249/250: Cebu – General Santos – Cebu
5J 991/992: Manila – General Santos – Manila
5J 993/994: Manila – General Santos – Manila
5J 995/996: Manila – General Santos – Manila
5J 998: General Santos – Manila
5J 4843/4844: Iloilo – General Santos – Iloilo
Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking:
1. Free Rebooking / Rerouting
Rebook or reroute any flight bound for General Santos for free. Should the travel period extend beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date, a fare difference may be applied.
2. Travel Fund
Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)
3. Refund
Full refund of your ticket.
As this is a developing situation, some flight changes may continue to take place. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status and update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive email notifications on flight reminders and updates.
