A sad news for PAL goers.

In May 2025, we learned that Philippines Airlines would become the 32nd airline partner of Alaska Airlines. This would mean earning and redeeming points on select flights with Philippine Airlines would be possible.

However, without warning, Alaska has now demoted Philippine Airlines to its third-tier group of airlines, which removes the ability to redeem points to fly Philippine Airlines.
