MARIVELES MARCH — THE SOUND OF MARIVELES
Did you know that the Mariveles March, the municipal hymn of Mariveles, Bataan, was originally composed in 1979 by Kapitan Enrique V. Liloc, popularly known as “Lolo Iking Liloc” or “Maestro”?

Originally written as a march, its music carries that classic forward-moving energy—perfect for civic occasions and celebrations. Its lyrics celebrate Mariveles' beauty, abundance, livelihood, development, freedom, and the pride of its people.
In 2017, a new arrangement was introduced while retaining Lolo Iking Liloc's original composition. The revised version was performed by the Letran Choir, with the approval of Liloc's family.
From a 1979 march to a modern choral arrangement, one thing remains:
Mariveles isn't just a place you live in—it's a place you carry with you.
