This decision comes after the recent incidents involving passengers who traveled to South Korea under a Group eVisa and subsequently failed to return to the Philippines or became undocumented.
Unfortunately, situations like these expose travel agencies like us to serious financial penalties and liabilities, despite the agency earning only a minimal amount from each booking. More importantly, repeated cases may also lead to stricter screening and could potentially affect the availability of the Group eVisa facility for legitimate Filipino travelers in the future.
Starting today, August 28, 2026, the following will now be MANDATORY:
1๏ธโฃ Notarized Waiver and Undertaking
All passengers must sign a notarized waiver and undertaking acknowledging their responsibilities and obligations as travelers.
2๏ธโฃ Ten (10) Emergency/Reference Contacts
Each applicant must provide ten (10) reference or contact persons, together with their complete home addresses and other required contact details, for verification and emergency reference purposes.
3๏ธโฃ Strict Verification of Documents and Information
All submitted information and documents must be complete, accurate, and verifiable. Failure to comply may result in the non-processing or cancellation of the application.
We understand that these additional requirements may seem extensive, but they are necessary to protect everyone involved and ensure that the Group eVisa is used responsibly.
Effective immediately, no South Korea Group eVisa application through RIOR WANDERS TRAVEL AND TOURS will be processed without complete compliance with these requirements.
๐ IMPORTANT NOTE: These additional requirements are imposed solely by RIOR WANDERS TRAVEL AND TOURS as part of our internal risk-management and client-screening procedures. They are not requirements imposed by the South Korean Embassy or other travel agencies.
