My Family Goes to Bohol
10Adults and 1 Infant

We booked a ticket with Ocean Jet from Cebu to Bohol that cost us 525Php per person.
The trip took 1hour and 45min from Cebu to Bohol. We left bohol at 1210PM.

1st Day
We arrived at the Resort at 2:30PM

We stayed in G’s Grand Resort and Convention for 3Days and 2Nights and Paid for about 2,033 per person for the entire stay including Breakfast and the Pick up and Drop off from the Port of Bohol to the Hotel vice Versa.
The Hotel is 15minutes away from The famous Alona Beach And Dumaluan Beach but they have free drop off to those beaches and just pay for 350pesos for the pick up. Quite a deal actually. We love the hotel. The location,the staffs are so accommodating,the whole place is so clean and the foods served are tasty and fresh. They have 8rooms in total perfect for the entire family as if we owned the entire resort that time.
We rested a bit and went to Dumaluan Beach for Dinner at 5PM.
We asked the driver to pick us up at 9:30PM.

2nD Day
On our First morning we enjoyed the beautiful and clean swimming pool. The entire pool is used just by us. The hotel staffs set up our breakfast beside the pool area. We didn’t have much time since we will to have our country side tour today as well.

For our tour we rented a Van from our hotel.
We do a country side tour from 9AM till 5PM for 3000pesos for 10people
The places we have visited are as follows together with the entrance fees.

Chocolate Hills: 50php/person
ATV Experience: 600php/person for 30min
Tarsier Encounter: 100php/person
Man made Forest: FREE
Hanging Bridge: 35php/person
Phyton Experience: 45php/person
Loboc River with Lunch buffet: 650php:person

We could have been to the Blood Compact Shrine and with the Famous Baclayon Church but we opt to skip it because we are too exhausted and we have an infant with us so we just passed by.

The tour ended at 5PM. Our tour guide/Driver is very kind and approachable. He gives us a lot of details about Bohol plus he drives safely. Highly recommended. I will update his mobile number in watsapp as soon as I get it from my wife.

3rd and final Day
We just enjoyed the delicious complementary breakfast . As much as we would like to extend our stay but we also have something to do in Cebu so we need to go back. But first we need to see Alona Beach too so we asked the driver to bring us to the beach at 8AM.
The place is nice and clean but crowded as ther are lots of stores nearby the beach. One resort that got my attention is the Henann
beachfront Resort. Quite a place. I will be back soon.
We went back to the resort at 1130AM and prepare for our trip back to Cebu after lunch by 2:30PM.
We took Island Water this time from Bohol to Cebu for 465per person. Took us 2hours and 45min.

The entire trip is awesome. The places we’ve been is amazing. All thanks to the one above for granting us a safe journey together with my entire family.

Travel Tips

Seychelles is a visa Free country not just for Filipinos but for majority of countries around the world.

On our case we took off from Dubai Airport which makes it a 4hours flight to Mahe International Airport.
The place is mainly for honeymooners because of its romantic atmosphere all over the island.
There are lots of hotels available but be mindful with the prices. I suggest get a self catering hotel. It a bit cheaper.

TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation in Seychelles is very expensive so if you can drive get a rent a car and drive. For us we paid 156Eur for 4days and 3Nights rent. There are only few Taxis in the area. If we booked for a taxi from airport to our hotel it will cost us 56eur.. So better rent a car. Less hassle and you can go wherever you want to go.

HOTEL:
There are lots of hotels in Mahe Island. Expensive, less expensive and Economy price. We have stayed in a bit pricey one since its our wedding day but you can always choose to book a cheaper but nice one too. We have stayed in Avani and Barbaron Resort. A very nice and highly recommended hotel. The view is awesome by the beach. We got to have our bfast lunch even dinner by the beach. The staffs are very kind and helpful.
We also got to checked in for another hotel on our last night in Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel. Another hotel by the beach. Awesome.

If you were for cheaper and budgeted hotel I highly suggest go and book with Chez Batista Villa. It ambiance is superb. 2min walk by the beach and with free breakfast. The only disadvantge is that it is 45min away from the airport.

There are some islands also aside from Mahe LADIGUE and PRASLIN however i cannot give you details beacause we never went there.

FOODS:
They serve continental menu so you dont need to worry if you are not not into local foods because they also serve pasta and steak which I ordered a lot by the way. They have Chinese restaurant as well. Price? Hmmmm a bit costly. Its an island what to expect

MOBILE DATA CONNECTION:
When you arrive at Mahe Airport there are few options for internet package. Go for Airtel. Its 20USD but its 3GB data for 1week usage. Quite a good deal actually. The connection is impressive.

PS: THEY DRIVE ON THE LEFT HANDSIDE and the STEERING WHEEL is on the RIGHT HANDSIDE..
They dont require international license though.
If you're driving pls download an OFFLINE WIFI MAP for MAHE island. It will help you a lot to navigate around the area.
