👤 Closed Van Driver
Job Summary:
Closed Van Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transport of goods using closed van. This role includes vehicle inspection, route planning, loading supervision, and customer service to ensure that deliveries are completed accurately and professionally.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a closed van to deliver goods to customers, branches, or distribution points.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items based on delivery schedules or instructions.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Secure and supervise loading/unloading of cargo to prevent damage or loss.
• Check and maintain delivery documents such as invoices, packing lists, and delivery receipts.
• Comply with traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain good communication with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
• Report any accidents, delays, or mechanical issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the van by scheduling regular servicing and addressing repairs.
• Assist helpers and provide support in handling items when necessary.
✅ Qualifications:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• With a valid driver’s license (appropriate restriction code for closed van).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of driving experience, preferably in delivery or logistics.
• Familiar with local routes, traffic laws, and delivery protocols.
• Physically fit and able to assist with manual handling of goods.
• Responsible, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
• Can work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
