We're looking for an Import Associate!

Responsibilities
- Classify commodities and compute for duties and taxes
- Inform customers of the most recent updates on their shipments
- Check and process shipment and customer documents for import customs clearance
- Organize shipment documents for easy reference and reviews
- When needed, assist the Operations Manager with administrative tasks

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in BS Customs Administration and at least two (2) years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of Customs procedures
- Experience in breakbulk customs clearance is required
- Experience with PEZA shipments is a plus
- Acute attention to detail
- Effective handling of multiple accounts
- Proactive and frequent communication with customers
- Good collaboration with colleagues

District Collector Alviar highlighted the Port’s continued commitment to supporting legitimate trade and delivering responsive service to stakeholders.

This engagement aligns with Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno’s programs to enhance stakeholder partnerships and promote transparent, efficient, and integrity-driven customs operations across all ports.
