CBPi advises clients and partners of industry-wide trucking rate adjustments announced by major trucking associations in the Philippines.

The Confederation of Truckers Association of the Philippines (CTAP) has announced trucking rate increases of approximately 50%, while the Alliance of Concerned Truck Owners and Operators (ACTOO) has sent notice of its members’ rate adjustments of 20-30% for container transport services.

These changes are primarily driven by rising fuel costs and global oil market volatility, linked to ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, which serves as a key shipping passage for oil.

Resulting trucking charges may vary depending on route, equipment availability, and operational conditions at the time of cargo movement. Clients may also experience possible truck availability constraints, delivery schedule adjustments, and longer lead times during peak port activity.

CBPi continues to coordinate closely with accredited trucking partners to maintain service continuity and minimize operational disruptions. Clients will be informed of prevailing trucking rates once confirmed by providers.
