An efficient and effective mass transportation system is always the best solution. Less motorbikes, trikes and cars but more buses and if possible, trains.
City buses offer the most efficient mode of road-based mass public transportation.
With the rising costs of fuel, city buses move more people using as few vehicles as possible. Despite their size, they can carry several times the capacity of other alternatives such as jeepneys and taxis. Although they consume more fuel given their larger engines, they compensate for this by requiring fewer units; additionally, their engines are even more refined with fuel-saving technology.
