Iloilo came alive with fun-filled fiesta vibes at Crew and Family Day 2026 🎊🕺

Last May 9, our much-awaited Crew and Family Day commenced at Park Inn Hotel Iloilo, bringing together 170 crew members and their families for a day filled with laughter, meaningful moments, and shared celebrations.

The attendees went all out and showed up in their vibrant fiesta-inspired outfits, with some taking home best dressed awards during the Fashion Walk. They also enjoyed classic Filipino treats and food, lively music, and fun activities for the kids, making the celebration even more memorable.

The event featured meaningful workshops led by 3M Rey Philip Gallos and guest speaker Ms. Marisol Tormon, alongside games, raffle draws, magical performances, and family activities that kept everyone entertained throughout the day.

Special thanks to everyone who helped bring this memorable fiesta-inspired celebration to life.

Today, a new vessel was officially named and delivered to the Odfjell fleet from Shin Kurushima Shipyard in Japan. Named after the planet with the fastest winds in our solar system, Bow Neptune now begins her journey, safely circumnavigating the world’s oceans with speed and precision 🌊

Over the past weeks, our teams in São Paulo and Shanghai have welcomed Norwegian diplomatic representatives. It’s been valuable opportunities to share perspectives on the status and future of shipping, locally and globally.

🇧🇷In Brazil, discussions highlighted Odfjell’s green corridor to Europe, already operating with B24 biofuel blends and demonstrating that lower‑carbon shipping solutions are available today.

🇨🇳In China, we shared insights from Odfjell’s long-standing presence in the country and our role in one of the world’s most important maritime markets.

It’s been weather from all four seasons in our headquarters’ city this first week of May. Between sideways rain, sunshine and a surprise round of snow, we presented our 1Q26 results ⏱️ 🗓

The quarter saw further escalation of geopolitical volatility and uncertainty across global markets. Still, we delivered solid financial results, maintained a strong safety performance, and continued to renew and expand our fleet.

Selected 1Q highlights:
✔️ EBIT: USD 46 million
✔️ Time charter earnings: USD 167 million
✔️ Net result contribution from Odfjell Terminals: USD 2.3 million
✔️ Net result: USD 32 million
✔️ AER (carbon intensity): 7.0
✔️ Agreement to purchase four 40k dwt newbuild vessels
✔️ Delivery of three newbuildings on time charter

For our colleagues on board and ashore, the war in the Middle East has remained the top priority throughout the quarter.

"I am proud of our people on board and ashore, who expertly handled both safety, operational, and commercial challenges after the outbreak of the war," CEO Harald Fotland says. "The situation remains unpredictable, and we continue to monitor developments closely while prioritizing the safety of our crew and vessels."
