🚢 WE ARE HIRING: PORT & CARGO OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR 🚢
(OPEN TO PORT WORKERS & EX-SEAFARERS)
CLIO SHIPPING & LOGISTICS (PHILIPPINES) INC. is looking for a hands-on Port Supervisor to manage our operations across various Philippine ports.
⚠ IMPORTANT: This is NOT a Master Mariner/Vessel Captain position. We do not require a Captain’s License or board exams. We value practical experience in port and cargo handling above all else.
📍 Office Location: Room 703, Dona Felisa Syjuco Bldg., 1872 Remedios St., Cor. Taft Ave., Malate, Manila
📌 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cargo Supervision: Expertly oversee the loading and unloading of cargo (especially Breakbulk) to ensure safe handling.
On-Site Coordination: Act as the primary link between the vessel and stevedores to keep operations on schedule.
Equipment Control: Monitor and sign time sheets for hired gear (forklifts, mobile cranes, etc.).
Team Leadership: Lead port-side personnel to maintain high safety and performance standards.
✅ QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience Over Degree: No specific college degree or maritime license required. We want someone with a deep understanding of Philippine port procedures.
Background: Open to experienced Port Operations staff, Cargo Supervisors, or Ex-Seafarers (Deck Officers, Bosuns, or experienced Ratings).
Industry Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable in Breakbulk cargo handling.
Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and clear communication.
Age: Must be under 45 years old.
